The hospital has been located on the site since 1877 and will be relocating to a new, purpose built facility.
Groveworld purchased this 1.5 acre freehold site, unconditionally in December 2018. The site is currently occupied by the Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital. The long term ambition for the project is to deliver a high-quality mixed-use scheme.
The site is ideally located near to King's Cross and St Pancras International Stations, as well as the 67 acre 'King's Cross Central', an urban regeneration scheme which when completed will accommodate 4m sq ft of commercial space and over 2,000 homes.
A planning application for the substantial mixed-use redevelopment will be submitted, comprising residential and a number of commercial uses.
